Werewolves of Brisbane
The Techy Punk Rocker
Born living a normal life in the suburbs of southeast Queensland Caleb had his life turned upside down one night after sneaking out to see a show and waking up having experience something drastically life changing. The initial impacts were mild, he woke in his bed the next day, little to no memory of the night before and a little dishevelled but otherwise fine. Once he saw the news however it was all he could do to remain calm and act like nothing happened, The show he had gone to had become a bloodbath and he couldn’t recall a thing. It was all over the news and all the kids at school were talking about it and he just had to sit there and act like it was just a tragic accident that happened to someone else, all the while trying desperately to remember last night hoping he could figure out how he had made it out unscathed. Over the next months he began to spend more and more time away from friends and family where possible as they began to seem less and less like people and more like nuisances and he slowly discovered his werewolf abilities. His parents noticed this habit and though he hadn’t let slip anything about his involvement in the inciting event they had noticed the odd timings, thinking it was just a personality shift brought on by news of the violent event and wanting to keep their son out of danger they sent him to live away from home, sending him to a boarding school closer to the Brisbane. Among the powers he had been gifted by his new state was the ability to change his body, shifting gender with ease. This ability combined with the move to a new school and his growing separation from the humans around him gave rise to a plan to reinvent his self. He would go to school by day, live a normal life as himself, maybe make a few “friends” at school for cover, and then go out as their alter ego Shara the rocker chasing her love of noise and music. Over the next few years she connected with the local werewolf community, began to connect to her newfound heritage and after graduating fell in with a local kids shelter as a way to sustain her life outside of music and wolf life.
